Online marketing has been a major standpoint in the Internet. Many have succeeded and made a descent living out of it. By marketing their different products online they achieve sales and profits. But this depends too on their link popularity and their targeted keywords. Most of the successful ones have thousand of links of different page ranks and have attained the perfect success. Most of them link to quality web directory that have high page rank and strong presence or resource blogs that very well captures an audience. They optimize their sites to get the best featured placement on their targeted keywords which I think the best for a strategy to increase online presence. So if you need some quality back links there are a lot of real estate directory, business directory, shopping directory or a travel directory to choose from.

Pinoy Komiks

July 8, 2007
by: admin

One favorite past time in the Philippines is the Komiks aka “Comics” in the western world. An animated source of reading material that are available on every news stands. This is so popular that most of the young and adults alike in urban or rural life reads it frequently and one could find a komiks in every household. Action, drama, fantasy you name it komiks has them. The most popular komiks novel and the one of the earliest is a fantasy entitled Captain Barbel, the local Superman Hero, which was written by the late great novelist Mars Ravelo in 1963. Captain Barbel was so popular that it was made into a movie countless times by popular actors to this date. Ravelo was also the creator of the high flying local fantasy heroine, Darna, that also made it as a blockbuster in the movies during the 1950’s and starring Rosa del Rosario. Another great komiks novelist is Carlo Caparas, who wrote thousands of novels of which about 200 got into the movies. Pedro Penduko by Francisco Coching, also a local popular hero about a boy who endlessly battles mythological creatures in his quest to find his father.

This local past time has attracted a lot of young and old readers alike with some learning the first steps of reading thru this medium. It is always good to have a komiks handy or some of it available in a household but be sure they are family friendly and educational avoiding the junk ones or the adult and porn related which is so JUNK. Komiks are part of our local traditions and a great medium of learning. So tangkilikin ang sariling atin.

The launch of Paradise Philippines also serves as an entry to the SEO Contest of web developers made possible by Marc Hil Macalua and called as the Bayanihan SEO Contest. Its main purpose though is to expand the knowledge of the outside world to see the inner beauty of the Philippines through optimization of websites as well as gaining popularity. A very honorable purpose and at the same time serves as an educational base training ground for participants in the world of search engine optimization. His company Macalua.com has provided prizes for the winners and could well be found at his website.

Our entry for Paradise Philippines is proudly sponsored by Jude Deguzman of Dirsensei Web Directory and Chris Hoffmann of Alive Web Directory. If by chance our entry should win the competition, prizes will be donated to education or local public schools. This way the purpose of the name Paradise Philippines will always serve as a name that provides good intentions and benefiting the country’s educational programs.

We would like to wish all entries and individual candidates the best and we hope that the Philippines would gain more international recognition thru healthy competitions like this to better the knowledge of international travelers to our country by providing them with such enormous amount of educational travel guides and resources about the Philippines.
