Ilocos Norte is a province the northern region of Luzon. Its capital Laoag City is in the vicinity of the northwest corner of the province. Ilocos Norte is the home of the Ilocanos and the birthplace of former president Ferdinand E. Marcos. Ilocos Norte has one of the richest historical facts and figures in the Philippines. It has also been known that the Ilocanos are one of the most industrious people of the country.
